Just opted in to the ‘exciting’ new UI on the HSBC app. The new design makes the data smaller to make way for the extra layer of padding (between viewport and card, and between card and content) and the requisite box-shadow effect required to create a ‘card’ UI.
Yeeeees, it’s a little prettier than the previous release.
But I quite like to be able to read my balance at a glance. Or even at a sustained stare…
Not holding my breath, but I’m really hoping we move on from this ‘cards everywhere’ trend soon:-(
