So, you hire a person to help out with office catering. One of their jobs is pouring water for clients spending time in the waiting area.
This new person is willing to work for a lot less that your previous catering helper and they’re faster too, so you’re happy to be making those savings while saving time:-)
This new person is great company, really chatty and engaging and keen to do well. On the whole, they’re just great fun to have around.
When clients get thirsty, they go to the filter pump, pull out a jug of fresh, filtered water, put glasses on a tray, and bring them out to the lounge area. They give the clients a glass, then take the jug and pour water right next to the client’s glass. Most of the time, they’re really close, in fact, some of the time, a little water actually makes it into the glass.
When they get the clients’ clothes wet, they apologise really well and are very articulate. They propose solutions and alternatives and do their best to be helpful which clients appreciate…
Then, they pour another glass and only spill a little water on the client’s laptop.
The new worker that is so close to getting it right is wonderful and you’re happy you’ve switched to this new person…
