Been thinking about Senge’s book, the Fifth Discipline which I eventually managed to digest. It was interesting to think of the friction between the practice of service design and systems thinking. I’ll confess the book was heavy but this work by consultancy Designit’s speculative design team (Futures) sets out to challenge the learning:-)

If you have to unlearn your mental models then how would you go about doing that? If you had to design a movement or a programme to help people break out of the models that constrain them what would that look like?

This team is doing really amazing work, well worth taking a closer look.
