LinkedIn ate the map

So Linkedin uses dynamic pagination and no doubt an evil js framework that thinks it knows better than you what you want to see.

One consequence of this is you see a thing that looks interesting, reckon you might add a comment and then go consult your notes… You come back and boom it’s gone. No amount of scrolling or searching brings it back. Grrr…

The image above is me trying to understand a map someone posted earlier today. I dropped their grey block outline on top of a Google map to show the country. The question the poster asked was “what is this - exactly”. A first guess might be population centres in Scotland, but unless I’ve transcribed it incorrectly I’m not sure…

Did you see the original map? Know the answer?

I added a comment with the pic below. I’ll never know if this is right but I like it as a guess even if it is wrong:-)

Ok everybody, I’m going to let this one go but before I do here’s a map of Scotland with the Greggs marked and 25-mile circles around them.

A map of Greggs stores in Scotland and Northern Ireland, each with a circle 25 miles across (a 12.5-mile radius) around it.

It’s pretty close?
