dug Interesting article on L4S. Interested because it’s sufficently complex that once again society will adopt, regulate etc. something that most normal folk probably don’t care about or don’t fully understand…
My concern is net neutrality. Because it’s invisible, it’s easy to fiddle which packets get priority access to bandwidth / throughput (if you care about this issue https://www.eff.org/).
Based on this article, L4S does sound like a pretty good idea, the distinction between the packets is down to what happens as they progress across the network, so not so much about access.
I’m no expert, so keen to hear if this assessment is right…
